Left without a goodbye
Alton Family Our Story
September 10,1977 Dad was in a tragic accident no time to say goodbye or finish the remodel of our home. Mom continues to live in the one bathroom home with a storage room off her bedroom still waiting to be finished as a second bath. The back porch still enclosed was supposed to be a included as bigger part for the kitchen with the sink looking out the window as she is doing dishes. Still no window to look out while the dishes are being washed. Purple paint now covers the rock like panneling dad put up as the back ground of the fireplace that was going to keep us warm in the winter. No central air to keep her cool in the summer the old swap cooler still trying to work the best it can to keep her cool. This old house has seen everything through the years except the one thing it desperatly needs a makeover.
Mom has always worked and raised us kids and continues to work and raise her grand kids with unconditional love. Mom has went long enough without thinking of herself and always giving to her kids letting them move in and out whenever times got tough. This old unfinished house will always be our home that dad worked so hard to improve for his family. Please consider my mom as one of the contestent for this contest.
Sincerly,
All her children and grandchildren
